food allergy - what you need to know

about food allergy

food allergy Learn the 8 main symptoms of food allergy & the foods that cause them, the 7 most allergenic foods, treatment options - including an exciting breakthrough that eliminates allergies for good!

According to conventional western medicine, a food allergy is the result of your immune system’s misdirected reaction to food substances, most commonly proteins. This type of allergy affects about one to two percent of adults (allergic to foods or food additives) and about eight percent of children under the age of six.

The seven foods that most commonly cause food allergy reactions include: Corn, eggs, milk, soy, sugar, wheat, and yeast. Allergic reactions to these substances can begin within minutes or symptoms can appear days after ingesting the offending substance.

Dr. Fred Pescatore has written a wonderful book about allergies. According to Dr. Pescatore (2003), food sensitivity or intolerance is not life-threatening the way some allergies are, but they can be quite bothersome. Dr. Pescatore explains that a food sensitivity "is an adverse reaction that does not necessarily involve the immune system" (2003, p. 61). Lactose intolerance is an example, where a person lacks the enzyme to digest milk sugar.

How do you know when you are having an allergic reaction to a food you’ve ingested? Types of symptoms and the severity of allergy reactions vary widely between people, encompassing a broad range of symptoms, from a runny nose with coughing, to life-threatening reactions such as swelling of the tongue or throat.

food allergy - common symptoms

Common symptoms of food allergy often involve the skin and include reactions such as rashes, hives, and eczema. Also, symptoms can typically involve the intestines and might include diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, indigestion, and stomach cramps. A more complete listing of symptoms is as follows:

• abdominal cramping, anaphylactic shock

• arthritic type symptoms, canker sores

• constipation, depression

• difficulty concentrating, difficulty sleeping

• emotional upset, eczema

• fatigue, hives

• heartburn, indigestion

• irritability, itching

• migraine headaches, nocturnal enuresis

• red rash around the mouth, reddening or swelling skin

• rhinitis, stiffness

• stomach ache, swelling of the joints

• swelling of the lips and face

• vomiting, wheezing

tracing your food allergy to its source!

There are foods that are associated with specific allergy symptoms. The list below is particularly helpful for those individuals who need to trace the source of their allergies; it presents eight specific symptoms and the corresponding (possible) foods that can cause the allergy. For example, you will see that wheat allergy is often found to cause headaches, an egg allergy can frequently cause migraines and hives, while common symptoms of milk allergy are hay fever and cerebral issues (energy, emotions, pysche).

Headaches: wheat, chocolate

Migraine Headaches: Alcohol, cheese, chocolate, nuts, wheat, citrus fruits, tomatoes, MSG, nitrates, eggs, milk.

Hay Fever: Milk, wheat, nuts, chocolate, colas, sulfites

Hives: Strawberries, tomatoes, chocolate, eggs, shellfish, mangos, pork, nuts.

Childhood Allergies: Milk, wheat, eggs, artificial colors/flavors, peanuts, salicylates, (less common) rye, beef, fish.

Eczema: Eggs, citrus fruits, tomatoes.

Asthma: Wheat, eggs.

Cerebral Symptoms: (affecting energy, emotions, and pysche): Milk, soybeans, corn, and wheat.

food allergy treatment

The main conventional treatment for food allergies is allergen avoidance. Thus you need to find out the foods causing your reactions, and then avoid them.

Medical treatment can include the following:

● Epinephrine - given for severe allergic reactions. When injected, it acts as a bronchodilator

● Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) - A common antihistamine

● Corticosteroid - Reduces swelling and various symptoms of allergic reactions. A cream/ointment may be given for skin reactions

ENERGY-BASED ALLERGY TREATMENT

I’d like to end this section with a personal note that I feel most passionate about. Even though a quick, effective cure of food allergy is now available, a great many people do not know a cure exists. For example, in a survey conducted by the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI), 60% of the people surveyed said they were not aware of any treatments for allergies other than medications.

Many have found Energy-based allergy elimination treatments to be a quick, effective, and permanent cure of food and environmental allergies.. I’m not talking about a lengthy, expensive treatment. My egg allergy was cured in one, simple twenty minute session.

I urge you to thoroughly examine our section about “The New 24-hour Allergy Cure.” I feel this cure has saved my life, irrespective of its simplicity and ease of delivery. There are literally thousands of practitioners who are curing food allergy and environmental allergy with energy-based treatments.
